Visiting Egypt in March
Climate and weather guide
March
March sees the weather getting even warmer, usually with highs of around 25-30C across the country, although it’s still cooler at night. There’s still a possibility of some rain in the north of Egypt too, including Cairo, although limited to a few showers in the capital. It’s still cool overnight, and there’s a possibility of sandstorms (the khamsin, or khamseen), although these usually appear later in spring. It’s still peak travel season, so you can expect everywhere to be busy.
