Travel Specialist

I caught the travel bug at a very young age, when my dad decided to move my whole family to the USA for a few years. Although New York State may not exactly be an “exotic” location, it opened my eyes to the world and made me want to see as much of it as possible. Since then I have been fortunate enough to see many corners of the globe, including a round the world trip in 2010, and more recently in 2018 spending 7 months travelling around Eastern Europe and the Balkans.

I truly believe that travel is one of the most exciting and rewarding things we can do with our time, and I have a passion for sharing my experiences and helping to inspire others to get out into the wide world.

Food

In my opinion, there’s no better way to learn about the culture of a country than by eating their food. I tend not to focus too much on online reviews, and instead go with whatever seems to be popular with the locals. Equally, I can spend hours at a food market trying to figure out what to cook for myself.

Photography

This is a bit of a cheat, as it covers so much. Landscapes, animals, plants, people, or even street photography… Anything beautiful or interesting. That being said, I do appreciate it’s sometimes important to put the camera down and be in the moment!

Adventure

I feel that travel isn’t just about the destination, it’s the travel itself that makes it exciting. Whether riding a tuk-tuk through a jungle, kayaking along a crocodile infested river, or getting lost down some unnamed street in a new city, it’s all good! Even when things are a little chaotic, stressful and not quite going as planned, it usually ends up being an interesting story when you’re back home.
