Ever since I was little, I’ve loved learning about the world. When I entered the world of work I was too short to be cabin crew, so I worked on a cruise ship instead (much more fun!) and travelled around the Caribbean. I fell in love with their culture as the vibe is so fun, friendly & happy – dancing to soca music in the sand with the locals by fire light whilst drinking ‘Bahama Mama’s’ out of a pineapple will be a memory that stays with me forever.

Having worked in travel for 13 years now I feel extremely lucky to have experienced adventure, luxury, tailor-made and educational travel and explored extensively through Europe, Australia, America and parts of Asia. This world is so incredible and I love helping people plan to explore it – just don’t forget to tell me all about it when you’re back!

Adventure

I’m not the best at sitting still and always like to keep busy so exploring a new country comes naturally to me. I’m up early and don’t want to waste any time! I love hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, ziplining, rock climbing, snorkelling and have even tried canyoning & caving.

I love a challenge and climbed my first mountain in Romania at 2013m, with the 2nd mountain the next day at 2455m high! This completely opened my eyes to climbing and how much you can see on foot – the adrenaline it gives you and the views that come with it are breath-taking!

Culture

I was first exposed to multiple cultures when I worked on the cruise ship with over 92 nationalities working on-board. I loved meeting and talking to everyone and hearing all about where and how they live, it really fascinated me and still to this day you’ll see me talking to the locals and completely immersing myself in their culture.

History

Working in educational travel allowed me to explore the history of this world and visit places that I’d never have thought of visiting as a holiday, like walking through the WW1 trenches in Ypes, taking in the harrowing narrative of the concentration camp of Auschwitz in Krakow, and witnessing the volcanic debris and ruins of Pompeii & Herculaneum. Each time I came away feeling like I had grown a little, with a new perspective and passion to learn more.
