South Korea in March

March is the changeover month, with early spring warmth gradually chasing away the last of winter, so expect it to still feel chilly, especially in the evenings. By late March, the first cherry blossoms begin appearing in the country's south, with early colour along Gyeongju's Bomun Lake and through the hanok village in Jeonju, while Seoul marks Independence Movement Day on March 1st with ceremonies at historic sites. It's also yellow dust season, so it's worth checking air quality forecasts if you're sensitive to it. Toward the end of the month, Busan and Jinhae start filling up with blossom-chasers getting a head start on the main event.

Or perhaps you’re thinking of travelling on another month..?
