Visiting South Korea in July
South Korea in July
July is hot, sticky and firmly in monsoon season, with sudden downpours a regular feature of the month. It's also, somewhat improbably, one of Korea's most fun times to visit thanks to the Boryeong Mud Festival, near Busan, where the seaside town is filled with mud slides, mud wrestling and general good-natured chaos for over a week. Beaches and water parks are in full swing too, and while the humidity can be intense, air-conditioned shopping districts, cafés and museums in Seoul offer welcome relief between showers.
Or perhaps you’re thinking of travelling on another month..?
