Seoul in February

February holds onto winter's chill, though days slowly start to lengthen and the coldest snap of the season usually passes. This is often when Seollal (Lunar New Year) falls, one of Korea's most important holidays, when families reunite, ancestral rites are performed, and palaces in Seoul host free traditional games and hanbok experiences for visitors, you'll find hanbok rental just as popular around the hanok village in Jeonju. Beyond the celebrations, February is still prime time for skiing and snowboarding near Seoraksan National Park, and the Taebaeksan Snow Festival brings enormous snow sculptures to the mountains.

Or perhaps you’re thinking of travelling on another month..?
