Day 1 - Arrival in Busan
Busan sits on South Korea’s southeast coast, where the sea is never far away and gives the city its laid-back atmosphere. You’ll stay in the old town, in a charming neighbourhood close to the traditional fish market. For a great afternoon or evening, head to Gwangalli Beach, where you can enjoy phenomenal views of the illuminated Gwangan Bridge while choosing from plenty of lively restaurants and modern cafés.
On the other side of the city, you’ll find Haeundae Beach, backed by modern skyscrapers and a long stretch of golden sand. Stroll along the promenade or follow the walking paths beneath the swaying pine trees, a favourite spot for locals to enjoy the fresh sea air at the end of the day.
Day 2 - Busan city tour
Today you'll have plenty of time to explore more of Busan. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of South Korea's most beautiful temples, perched dramatically beside the sea. Next, you'll take the Sky Capsule along the coast, taking in the scenic views over beaches and cliffsides, before wandering through the colourful Gamcheon Culture Village. Here, narrow lanes wind between brightly painted houses, street art and cosy little squares.
You'll also take a boat trip along the river, with views of the city skyline, while your guide shares stories about Busan's history, culture and everyday life. Finish your day at Busan's port, where you can sit back with a coffee, enjoy the views across the water and watch the city gradually wind down for the evening.

Gamcheon Village & the Yeongdo Bridge
Gamcheon Culture Village is one of Busan's most colourful places. The district was built after the Korean War by refugees from North Korea. In South Korea it is not common in to live in the hills, but due to the large number of refugees, it has happened here in Busan. Young artists, art students and residents joined forces to breathe new life into the neighbourhood with murals, artwork and colourful facades. Nowadays you walk through a maze of narrow alleys full of street art, creative installations and photogenic viewpoints. Behind every corner you will discover a new work of art or a cosy café. Not far from here is the Yeongo Bridge: during the Korean War, refugee families agreed to find each other here again if they lost each other along the way. The bridge thus became a symbol of hope and reunification. The Yeongdo Bridge is Korea's first drawbridge and is still briefly opened daily as a tribute to its history.
If you'd like to experience a different side to Busan, there are plenty of ways to make your stay even more memorable. Join a traditional flower tea ceremony, where you'll learn about the art and flavours of Korean flower tea, or head to Haeundae Beach for a surfing lesson alongside locals and fellow travellers.
Or, for something a little different, visit Blueline Park and hop aboard the Sky Capsule, a colourful carriage that glides along the coastline with fantastic sea views. If you have the time, you could also add an extra night in Busan, giving you the chance to relax on the beach, explore at your own pace and enjoy even more of the city's fantastic food scene.

Day 3 - Departure from Busan
It’s time to say goodbye to Busan and, depending on your plans, either continue your journey through South Korea or head home, taking plenty of memories of sea views, vibrant city life and delicious food with you.
If you have some extra time, you could consider adding another night in Busan and spend the day wandering through the colourful Gamcheon Culture Village, relax on the golden sands of Haeundae Beach, or stroll along the lively promenade. Just let us know if you’d like to extend your stay, and we’ll be happy to arrange it for you.
