Day 1 - Arrival in Isla Mujeres

Today you'll leave the mainland behind, boarding the ferry and crossing over to Isla Mujeres, a beautiful island just a stone's throw from Cancun. When you arrive at the port of Puerto Juárez, grab your ferry ticket, and soon you'll be boarding the boat for your 25-minute crossing to Isla Mujeres, where laid-back Caribbean charm awaits you. You'll spend three nights in a relaxed beachfront hotel, just a short walk from the island's lively centre. Take a walk down to the beach for a swim, just steps away, or walk into town and indulge in one of the vibrant street food stands.

Day 2 & 3 - Free time in Isla Mujeres

The next two days are free for you to enjoy at your own leisure. Find yourself a shady spot and sit back and relax with a good book on one of the island's beautiful beaches, or rent a bike or golf cart to explore the island on wheels, taking in the colourful streets and ocean views along the way. The town centre can be busy during the day, as the island is a popular day trip from Cancun; however, by the evening, the peace and tranquillity return, and you can enjoy a delicious meal by the water. Along the pier, you'll find open-air restaurants grilling fresh fish and serving up ceviche with sea views.

If you're looking for something more active, you could head to Garrafo Natural Reef Park and snorkel through the coral reefs, home to a vibrant array of tropical fish. Between June and August, there is an opportunity to snorkel with the biggest fish in the ocean, the whale shark. Speak to your travel specialist for more information.

    Day 4 - Departure

Next, you'll enjoy your final breakfast on this beautiful island, before taking a dip in the turquoise waters or taking a stroll along the sandy shores one last time. You'll take a ferry back to Puerto Juárez, where a transfer will be waiting to take you back to Cancun airport, marking the end of your time in Mexico.
