Having visited Colombia whilst backpacking nearly 20 years ago, I was so happy to head back there recently to see how it had changed. I was thrilled to visit some exciting off the beaten track new places this time and the unique charm of this beautiful country captured my heart once again.

My time in Colombia was an exciting journey through diverse landscapes and vibrant culture. I loved the lively markets and pretty buildings in Bogota. Exploring the Coffee Triangle with its lush coffee plantations was a treat for my senses. Cartagena‘s old town has colourful streets and old forts, making it a fun experience and a great spot to take some photos! The white sandy beaches of the Caribbean coast are so beautiful and were a real highlight of my trip.
