Culture and Cuisine of Kuching
Kuching, known as ‘Cat City’, is the perfect place to spend a day or two when starting your Sarawak adventure. The city offers a wonderful mix of old and new as well as being a melting pot of cultures and cuisines. Take a stroll through the colonial streets and marvel at the Chinese Temples and Mosques at every turn, before heading to spot orangutans swinging through the trees.

Proboscis Monkeys in Bako National Park
Bako National Park, tucked away in a mangrove forest near Kuching, lies on the edge of a beautiful coastline scattered with intriguing rock formations. During your trek through the jungle, keep a close eye on the branches above you and you may see the most famous inhabitant of this charming forest: the Proboscis monkey.
