Accommodation in Thailand

Koh Hai accommodation bungalow

During your trip to Thailand you can stay in a wide range of accommodation, from a night in a rustic hill tribe hut, to a floating raft house in the jungle or a boutique resort on a paradise island. We use a hand-picked selection of smaller hotels wherever we can, avoiding international chains, to give you a local and authentic experience when it comes to where you stay. As hotels in Thailand don’t always fit in with European star ratings, we’ve created our own categories so you know what you can expect from your trip.

In Style Accommodation – Category 4

Our In-Style accommodation offers you something a bit extra when it comes to comfort and style. We have upgrades in nearly all of the areas we offer so if you want to treat yourself during your trip then go for the In Style option. A great example of accommodation in this category is our upgraded resort on the island of Ko Samui; there’s an infinity pool, beach front restaurant and lively Lamai location.

Standard Accommodation – Category 3

This category includes the majority of our accommodation, from a riverside hotel in Bangkok to a jungle lodge in Khao Yai National Park. With accommodation in this category charm, full of character and a favourable location are the most important things we look for.

Simple Accommodation – Category 2

Sometimes when deciding where to stay there aren’t many options or the accommodation reflects the unique place you are visiting. This is the case for our floating raft house on the River Kwai, they might be more on the simple side but the location and atmosphere more than makes up for it.

Basic Accommodation – Category 1

This category reflects the basic yet unforgettable experience of staying with a local hill tribe outside of Chiang Mai. You may be going back to basics but this gives you a real insight into the daily lives of these communities.
