Sharing a meal with an Indonesian family
Experience Indonesian cuisine in its purest form. You will travel independently to a well-known meeting point near Ubud or Lovina, where you will be met by your host family. Together you will make your way to the house where you will experience a warm welcome and get to know your hosts over a drink before sitting down to enjoy a delicious local lunch or dinner.
For this culinary experience, we work together with a foundation that supports families who could use a helping hand. In this way, local families benefit directly from tourism in Indonesia. And, in our eyes, it enhances your travel experience, by making a unique connection with local families. All of the families speak at least a little English, so you can get to know each other, and make some new friends.
