September Travel: Best Places to go in September

Costa Rica is a peaceful slice of paradise with something for everyone. Misty cloud forests and mangroves, castaway beaches, smoking volcanoes, scarlet macaws and incredible coffee. Japan is a fantastic year-round destination. We think September is one of the best times to visit Japan. Why? Well, nestled firmly in the shoulder season, September often means fewer crowds than those peak Spring months, better value flights and decent temperatures too.

Travelling to Peru in September means cooler temperatures, perfect for trekking to Machu Picchu. For the most pleasant and mildest weather in China, September is a good bet. The sweltering summer heat in northern China is starting to wane and in the south, the dry season is fast approaching. The summer crowds have dissipated so head to gorgeous Yangshuo, grab an ice-cold beer and spend the evening overlooking the karst mountain scenery.
