During your trip to Lapland you will stay in many different kinds of accommodation, all to enhance your experience of this unique country. Log cabins hidden amougst the trees, boutique hotels with views of snow-covered mountains and secluded spots to view the Northern Lights. We’ve hand-picked a selection of accommodation across Lapland, avoiding big international chains wherever we can. Read on for more information on the different categories we use.

In Style Accommodation – Category 4

If you’re looking for accommodation with a bit more comfort and style, then this category should be right up your street. You can expect a little extra something in terms of facilities, design or service, maybe a jacuzzi or pool. We have upgrades in many of our destinations so just let your travel specialist know if you would prefer this level of accommodation.

Standard Accommodation – Category 3

The majority of our accomodation options fall into this category. You can expect small-scale charm full of local character in great locations. From modern city hotels, to guesthouses and lodges in rural towns. We try to use small-scale, locally owned places wherever we can to give you an authentic flavour of the areas you are visiting.

Simple Accommodation – Category 2

This category covers some of our more functional options like cabins in the forests or B&Bs. There is still a minimal level of comfort and amenities but this category is all about the experience and location. Here you will get close to nature and experience the wilder side of Lapland.
