Customer Operations & Finance
About us
At Rickshaw, we create sustainable, experience-led holidays that help travellers connect meaningfully with the places they visit. Guided by adventure, responsibility, and a belief that travel can be a force for good, we aim to make a positive impact for travellers, partners, and local communities.
We’re a collaborative, forward-thinking company that values fresh ideas, thoughtful problem-solving, and learning from one another. As we grow, we’re looking for people who value teamwork, are motivated by impact, and want to contribute to a purpose-driven organisation.

About you
Thorough, curious, and detail-focused, you take pride in getting things right, and you’re just as comfortable with numbers as you are with people, quick to spot when something doesn’t add up.
Clear and friendly in how you communicate, you’re confident talking to customers, suppliers, and colleagues, and happy juggling multiple bookings and priorities at once. You pick up new tools and systems quickly, always keen to learn, and happy to speak up, ask questions, and try new things as part of a supportive team.
You might already have experience in operations, admin, customer service, or finance, or you’re looking for your first step into the travel industry. Experience with Xero, or an interest in learning it, would be a bonus, as would time in a fast pace B2C environment.
You value working closely with your team, and you’re happy to be in our Brighton office around 80% of the time, with some hybrid flexibility.
Your day to day
– Keep every trip on track from booking through to departure, managing the inbox, booking confirmations, amendments, cancellations, and post-sales follow-up.
– Support finance-related tasks accurately, including margin reporting, invoice issuance, credit notes, and refunds, flagging any discrepancies promptly.
– Support customers at each stage of their journey, from welcome through to departure, so they always feel informed, reassured, and in safe hands.
– Handle general customer queries and calls confidently.
– Build your knowledge of Rickshaw’s destinations, itineraries, and supplier processes so you can answer questions accurately and adapt to changes.
– Work closely with Travel Specialists, Finance, and suppliers so customers feel looked after at every stage of their trip.
– Maintain accurate records and reports related to customer operations activity.
