Changing the Face of Graffiti in Valparaiso, Chile
Blog
1. Cultural displays
An incredible selection of colours that conveys the cultural mix of Spanish South American and native Mapuche people.

2. Like, comment, share!
Squirreled down an alleyway the door marks the (social media savvy) artist’s collective.
3. Vibrant colours
With its whimsical tone, this work of art is reminiscent of the children’s book illustrations (though perhaps not the content…)

4. Witness the creative process
Great to see the initial steps being made on a project…
5. Running wild with creative licence
Definitely one of my absolute favourites – I love they way the artist used the crack in the wall to create a divide in the painting. Not to mention the same use of turquoise as the nearby house!

6. Because… cats!
7. Recognise signature styles
This one shows an incredible level of detail and imagination.

8. Encroaching colour
Even the steps aren’t safe from the artist’s brush!
9. Fall in love with them
Apparently by a very prolific artist. He always starts by painting the words across the whole background then gradually builds up the picture over them – I could look at this for hours!

10. Because it’s true!
Jen enjoyed our Bohemian Hills of Valparaiso trip. If you’re interested in seeing the sights of Chile for yourself, or even combining trips to Chile and Argentina, check out our range of authentic Chile trips and itineraries.
