If you’re heading east for your summer hols and want to explore Vietnam with your clan in tow then this itinerary packs a real punch. Sample Vietnamese dishes on the streets of Hanoi, kayak between limestone peaks and try your hand at farming and local crafts before chilling out on the sandy beaches of Nha Trang. Days 1-3 – Flavours of Hanoi

Buzzing, busy, and brimming with character – Hanoi is the ideal Asian city to discover with children of all ages. It is easy to explore and has plenty of sights and sounds to keep you busy. During your time here you’ll head out with your own guide to sample delicious local delicacies served from the many food vendors that line the streets; a fantastic way of introducing yourselves and your kids to new foods in a fun and meaningful way!

Days 3-4 – Junk boats of Bai Tu Long Bay

Sparkling emerald waters littered with soaring limestone islands; Bai Tu Long Bay is a must for any family looking to add “incredible experiences” to their holiday wish list. You’ll sleep aboard a traditional junk boat, cruise through rocky outcrops, and explore its rich biodiversity during this memorable overnight cruise.

Days 4-6 – Down on the farm in Hue

Enjoy a truly authentic family day out amongst the rice fields and ancient villages of rural Vietnam as you spend the day with a local family on a working farm in the countryside, helping with the harvest, trying your hand at fishing, cooking a home made meal, and making plenty of friends as you go! As unique holiday experiences go, you’d be hard pressed to find a more meaningful one.

Days 6-9 – Lanterns of historic Hoi An

An atmospheric, magical old town famous for its lantern-filled laneways. Hoi An’s ancient streets are packed full of charm and with so much to see and do, it is a fantastic spot for families of all ages to explore. Hoi An is a dream destination for any foodie and what better way to introduce your kids (and yourself!) to new flavours than through an interactive cookery class? Pick up the ingredients at the local market and cook up a storm for a tasty lunch!

Days 9-13 – Kick back by the beach

Take a well earned break from the world on a secluded beach, surrounded by rugged cliffs and beautiful sea views, and recharge your batteries whilst the kids empty theirs. Sway in a hammock, snorkel coral reefs and sink your toes into the soft white sands of Nha Trang on this luxurious, tropical getaway.

At the end of your beach trip, you’ll wave goodbye to Vietnam as you’re transferred to the airport for your international flight home.
