Then out of nowhere you’ll stumble across ancient ruins or a clifftop temple that makes you stop in your tracks. It’s the simple stuff you remember most like a quiet swim, fresh seafood by the water, and evenings that drift on longer than planned.

Greece has this laid-back rhythm that you just fall into without trying. You might start the day exploring a buzzing little harbour, hop on a boat to a hidden beach, and end up somewhere completely unplanned by the afternoon. There’s always something new around the corner. Tucked-away tavernas, views that makes you pause, or a stretch of coastline you’ve got all to yourself. It’s easy-going, a bit spontaneous, and exactly the kind of place where plans go out the window in the best way.

I love the variety on offer in Greece, there are so many islands to choose from, ancient ruins to wander around and rolling countryside to explore. It’s a great chilled-out destination for families and couples.

I love spending our family holidays soaking up the sun on the beautiful Greek islands, playing in the sand and eating the many delicious local dishes. There are so many different islands to choose from so I like to do island hopping holidays so I can visit a few on one trip.
