Arrival - Hong Kong
When you arrive in Hong Kong, you’ll hop in a taxi to your hotel in Kowloon with staggering views across the harbour to the skyscrapers of Hong Kong Island. Once you’ve settled in, you can begin to explore this intriguing city. Strung along the south China coastline and scattered with a number of islands east of the Pearl River Delta, it really is a showstopper.
Afternoon Hong Kong Island Tour
This morning you’re free to do as you please, be it chilling beside your hotel pool or a walk along the harbour. This afternoon you’ll join a tour that will get you to all the traditional as well as the up and coming highlights of Hong Kong. You’ll start with a tram ride up Victoria Peak, head down to Aberdeen Village where you can choose to head out on a sampan.
Next you’ll head into Soho on the world’s longest covered outdoor escalator. You’ll spend your time here exploring the former Police Married Quarters which have been recently revitalised into a creative hub for designers. You’ll then get to enjoy a trip over the harbour to the old clock tower on the Star Ferry. From here you’ll head out on an evening cruise with dinner to experience the world’s largest permanent light show – A Symphony of Lights.
Departure from Hong Kong
Today you’ll check out from your hotel and if your flight is late enough, you’ll still have a good amount of time to explore the city today. We recommend leaving luggage safely at your hotel. If you’re craving a bit of downtime on the beach, we recommend heading back over to Hong Kong Island where there are many to options to choose from.
