There’s a wide range of transport options in Thailand and due to an excellent infrastructure it’s great for families wanting to explore the ‘land of smiles’. Trains are perfect for short hops or even overnight journeys and the sleeper trains have comfy bunk beds and a restaurant car. For quicker travel the domestic flight routes run daily, linking the entire length of the country plus some islands have their own airports. Buses, boats, and the iconic tuk-tuks are all cheap and convenient. It’s worth noting that some boat transfers and excursions only offer adult size life jackets – speak to your travel specialist for more information.
