Day 1 – Arrival at the lake
Today you will arrive at your country house just outside of Moura, where tranquillity and relaxation is the goal for the day, along with delicious food. Every morning you will be woken up with a delicious breakfast: cakes, fresh juices and fresh seasonal fruit are on the menu. Spend the rest of today lazing by the pool or go into town for some tapas and drinks.
Day 2 – Kayaking under the stars in Portugal
You’ll relax during the day today, as it’s at night is when this area really comes life. There is very little light pollution here, so you’ll experience true darkness, with just the stars (and your guide) directing you across the lake to blissful isolation. Your guide has a great knowledge of the sky and will point out constellations and hopefully get you to spot some shooting stars. It’s here where you’ll also have the best chance of seeing the milky way. All of this whilst floating in your kayak! You’ll end the evening with a picnic full of local products under the starry night sky.
Day 3 – Leave Alentejo
Before you continue driving today, take a final walk through the village before continuing to the Algarve or to Lisbon.
