Hidden away from the tourist crowds lies the vast Tatacoa desert. It's hard to believe, but this place, full of incredible rock formations and sand dunes, used to be a rainforest. Now it offers twisty labyrinths and winding hiking trails all ready to be explored. With incredible landscapes tinted in red hues the scenery is simply stunning.

Day 1 – Neiva and a trip to Tatacoa

Upon your arrival at Neiva airport, you’ll be met by your driver and whisked away to the Tatacoa desert. With its otherworldly rock formations, the landscape is nothing short of stunning. The rocks and sand have a red hue to them, giving you a surreal feeling of being on another planet (Mars anyone?). You’ll have 2 hours to wander around and take in the scenery before heading back to Neiva, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel for the night. Close to the town centre and shopping streets, its location is just right if you’ve got some energy left to enjoy a little stroll and find a bite to eat.

Day 2 – Departure from Neiva

Today your adventures in Neiva and Tatacoa come to an end. After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight to the next destination.
