Overnight in Senaru & Trek
After spending one night in a small village of Senaru, you’ll set off to the crater rim early this morning; the climb takes 6-7 hours. It begins with an easy walk, but as the summit gradually comes into view the path gets steeper. Towards sunset, you’ll reach the crater rim where you’ll be treated to a hot meal. Enjoy a magical sunset across the mountain rim as the sun dips below the horizon and feel the cold breeze on your face.
Descend and return to Senaru
Meet the sunrise at the crater rim and watch the skies turn golden-orange with the first rays glowing through the mist. The sweeping views across to Bali and towering Mt Agung are jaw-dropping, a perfect backdrop for your simple breakfast on the volcanic slopes! After breakfast you’ll start descending back to Senaru. You’ll walk through the grassy meadows and dense jungle and finally reach Rinjani Trek Centre. At the end of your adventure, you’ll definitely appreciate your comfortable hotel in a small village of Senaru.
Departure from Senaru
The next day, your trip comes to end and you’ll continue your adventure. After all your hard work, why not hop over to a tropical island?
