Meaningful Peru & Bolivia honeymoons

Salinas Grandes Peru Cusco Argentina Salt Flats

Peru is the perfect honeymoon destination if you’re looking for something a bit different. Go sandboarding down mighty dunes, trek the famous Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, sail across Lake Titicaca, stretch out on a sandy beach and fall to sleep to the sounds of the Amazon rainforest in your own jungle lodge. Whatever you choose in Peru, there’s oodles of fun and adventure to be had. Oh, and a bit of romance too.

Go wild in the Amazon

The Amazon isn’t your classic honeymoon destination. And that’s why we love it. If you want an adventurous honeymoon, our 4-day Amazon trip will treat you to just that! Hear monkeys in the canopies, go on night walks, spot piranhas, and fall asleep to the sounds of the rainforest, in a rustic river-side jungle lodge.

Follow the famous Inca Trail

An adventure honeymoon in Peru wouldn’t be the same without trekking the Inca Trail to see Machu Picchu at dawn. On our 5-day Inca Trail trek, you’ll follow the trail through mountain passes and mossy forests, finally reaching the famous Sun Gate, where you can take in the mist-clad ruins of Machu Picchu- a once in a lifetime experience to share with your partner!

Take time to chill on the beach in Máncora

Peru isn’t famed for its beaches, but if you fancy the feeling of sand between your toes, then Máncora is the place to go. With comfortable year-round temperatures, this former small fishing village offers a welcome break from an adventurous Peru honeymoon. All you’ll need to worry about during our 4-day beach stay is how cold your beer is as you kick back and relax.

Float away on Lake Titicaca

Once thought by the Andeans to be the birthplace of the sun, Lake Titicaca is also the highest navigable lake on earth, and a fantastic addition to any Peru honeymoon. On our 3-day Titicaca trip, you’ll sail to the floating reed islands of lake, immersing yourself in Peruvian culture and lying back as you float under bright blue skies. Pure bliss.

Take the coastal road to Nazca

We think honeymoons should be full of surprises! And that’s just what you’ll get if you head to Nazca. On our 5-day Nazca trip, you’ll explore the ‘other’ Peru; a surreal mix of mysterious etchings, giant sand dunes, sea lion colonies and desert lagoons. Fancy a thrill? Surf down the golden dunes, fly over the Nazca Lines and drift around the Islas Ballestas, spotting wild dolphins and penguins. It’s a bizarre and beautiful adventure– the perfect experience to add to you Peru honeymoon.
