Tulum: Ruins and Cenotes
Bite-sized trip
Day 1 – Arrival in Tulum
Once you arrive in Tulum you’ll make your way to your hotel to get settled in, either at your boutique hotel in the town, or at a beachfront hotel a short taxi ride away. The town itself has plenty of restaurants, bars and shops, and your hotel has a nice pool where you can relax. You can also rent bikes – it’s around 20 mins to the beach, or you can go a little further afield to see the ruins.
Days 2-3 – Relax or explore the coast
Your time in Tulum is completely free, so you can check out the Tulum ruins near the coast, take a trip to the ancient Mayan city of Cobá, or perhaps head for a swim in one of the nearby cenotes or the Kaan Luum lagoon. Alternatively, you can just sit around on the beach or by the pool and do precisely nothing – you are on holiday after all!

Day 4 – Departure
We can book more nights here for you if you’d like a little more relaxation time, otherwise it’s time to check out of your hotel and say goodbye to Tulum. With Cancun airport only a couple of hours away, many people choose this as the end of their trip, and we can arrange a private transfer to take you to catch your flight.
Accommodation

For this bite-sized trip we offer the following options
Stay at our beachfront accommodation
If you’d prefer to stay by the beach and immerse yourself in the laid-back atmosphere of Tulum then we can arrange a stay at a beachfront posada. You will stay at a rustic thatched-roof bungalow with vibrant decor, right on the beach. The town is a 20-minute cycle away so if you are staying here, it is advised to hire a bicycle which you can arrange with a local shop nearby. Another option is to hire a car, which we can arrange for you, however, the traffic can be quite busy. If you’re looking for a pure beach stay then this would be a great option for you. However, if you’re looking to explore the cenotes, and ruins and experience the local restaurants then you may be better suited to a stay in the town.
