Accommodation in Panama
During your trip to Panama you will stay in accommodation which reflects the nature of your surroundings. Wherever possible we try to use locally-owned authentic accommodation, with bundles of local character and charm. To help you plan your trip and give you a better idea about what to expect from your accommodation we have put together categories which are explained below.
In Style Accommodation – Category 4
Great location, comfort and style are what this category is all about. If you fancy staying in the old town in Panama City, perfect for exploring it’s cafes, bars and shops, then our In Style option is perfect for you; a modern hotel right in the cobbled old streets. If you would like to splash out during your time on Bocas del Toro then you can upgrade to a water bungalow with private terrace over the tropical water.
Standard Accommodation – Category 3
This category includes the majority of our accommodation in Panama, from a cabana in the countryside to a bungalow over the water. You can expect a warm and inviting atmosphere, favourable location and plenty of small-scale charm.
Simple Accommodation – Category 2
In some places there are truly unique accommodation choices to include in your trip. In our Relax the Kuna Way trip, the stilted cabins and garden bungalows are owned and managed by the Kuna community. The décor and facilities may be a bit more simple but the beautiful location and positive impact on this local community more than makes up for this.
