Journey to Rishikesh
Early in the morning you’ll be collected by a private driver and taken to the station in Delhi. The train ride to Haridwar takes around five hours, which should fly by as you watch the beautiful landscapes from your window. When you arrive in Haridwar, a driver will be waiting to take you on the short journey to Rishikesh, where you’ll check into your quiet hotel near the centre of town.

Rishikesh - Free Time
Rishikesh lies in a picturesque setting at the foot of the Himalayas, and on the banks of the Ganges river. The town has a holy atmosphere and is also known as the birthplace of yoga, and most of our hotels offer a 1 hour taster to get you into the spirit of the place. The river here is clear and clean, so if you ever wanted to dip your toes in the Ganges then this is the perfect time.

Haridwar - Free Time
A driver will take you back to Haridwar this morning. The atmosphere is charged with lofty thoughts of great saints, and is among the holiest places of pilgrimage in India. Every evening offerings are placed, and pilgrims bathe in the waters of the Ganges. You can feel the mysticism of the Hindu religion, and even see a traditional Aarti ceremony up close. You’ll stay in a comfortable Haveli in the Old Town.

Departure from Haridwar
In the morning you’ll have time for breakfast and perhaps a stroll through the charming Old Town, where you can pick up one or two last minute souvenirs. Sadly, it’s now time to say goodbye to the spiritual atmosphere of Haridwar, and continue on your next Indian destination.
