Day 1 – Arrival in Mandawa

Today, you’ll drive from Delhi to the Shekhawati region – a journey that takes around 6 hours. The roads will become smaller and dustier as you approach Mandawa. Here, you’ll stay in an atmospheric desert resort, formed of a cluster of clay huts dotted around the gardens, with a swimming pool. In this idyllic spot, you can enjoy the tranquillity of rural, traditional India as you escape the chaotic city crowds.

Days 2-3 – Camel ride & departure

Today, you’ll take a guided walk through the old town of Mandawa to experience traditional Indian life and soak up the authentic atmosphere. Explore the artistic havelis, decorated with beautiful paintings and frescoes. In the late afternoon, you’ll set off on a camel ride through the nearby countryside.

The next day you’ll pack up your things and journey onwards.
