Day 1 – Arrival on Ko Samui
Ko Samui has lots on offer; there’s a good selection of restaurants and bars to choose from and lots of day trips if you’re feeling adventurous. If you’re not, just enjoy the sand and the sea, but make sure you treat yourself to a Thai massage on the beach! You’ll stay on the pretty Bo Phut beach with powdery sand and a clear blue sea, in a charming bungalow resort.
Day 2 – Full day traditional junk cruise
After breakfast you’ll be collected from your hotel and transferred to the pier. Here you’ll board a traditional style wooden ‘junk’ boat for your day trip on the water. You’ll get the chance to explore the colourful underwater world off Koh Ma with corals, sea anemones and many different varieties of tropical fish to spot in the clear water. After a tasty Thai lunch on-board you’ll stop at Thong Nai Pan beach on Ko Phangan for a few hours of relaxing before heading back to Ko Samui.
Days 3-4 – Free time & departure
If you start feeling restless on the beach, you can hire a moped to explore the interior of the island. Behind the beaches, Ko Samui is draped in lush green vegetation and countless coconut palm plantations. There are shimmering waterfalls at Na Muang and the Big Buddha. On your last day you’ll pack up your things and say goodbye to this tropical island.
