Penguin islands and desert lagoons
Welcome to the peculiar coastline of Peru! Our 2-night trip takes you to the desert oasis of Huacachina, where you’ll sleep next to a surreal lagoon in the middle of the desert and whizz down giant dunes, before heading to Ballestas Islands where you’ll spot sea lions, pelicans, boobies, penguins and—with a bit of luck—flamingos and pink dolphins as well.
Condor spotting in Colca Canyon
Zigzag into the dizzying Colca Canyon, where you can marvel at the magnificent condors – the largest flying bird in the world – gliding through the sky. Our 2-night Colca Canyon trip will take you to the heart of sleepy villages nestled in sweeping valleys. As well as spotting condors, you’ll get the chance to stay on a traditional homestay on your second night. (Go in June-November dry season for best wildlife encounter).
Go wild in the Amazon rainforest
Amazon wildlife in Peru is one of a kind. Watch one of the most richly-colored species on the planet; the macaws at the claypicks. Take nerve-jangling night walks and see caimans in the river! Swing in a hammock as toucans fly overhead and feel completely lost in the jungle. It’s a real walk on the wild side.
Travelling to Peru with kids?! We are here to reassure you lovely folk that a Peru family holiday, even with the under 10’s, will still be a trip of a lifetime!
