Sales Support Assistant
Rickshaw Travel is a Brighton based travel company dedicated to providing our customers with unique, exceptional and responsible travel experiences.
To do that we need exceptional people. So, we are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Sales Support Assistant to provide administrative duties to our dynamic and motivated sales team.
This is a crucial role, at the heart of the business, and you’ll love this role if you are passionate about travel, you thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment and you pride yourself in delivering the best possible customer service.
You won’t love this role if you work best remotely. We will consider some hybrid working but we believe we work best together in the office so want to see you in real life 80% of the time.

Who we are looking for
You might have some experience in an administrative support role, you might have a customer service background or you might be a recent graduate who is looking for an entry level role in the Travel Industry. We just need you to demonstrate the following:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- A positive and friendly attitude; you’ll enjoy collaborating with colleagues across the business
- A good eye for detail and strong organisational skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using various software applications and tools, with the ability to grasp new technologies.
- A growth mindset; you’ll for personal development
- Proactive with the ability to identify opportunities to support the sales team
Your day to day
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as helping to book travel arrangements, creating invoices, and managing some customer enquiries.
- Help manage travel arrangements and logistics for customers, including flights, hotels, transportation, and activities.
- Process customer bookings and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Work closely with the sales team to provide accurate and timely information on bookings, travel arrangements, and customer queries.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales and customer support activities.
