I fell in love with Borneo on my first adventure when I scaled the awe-inspiring Mount Kinabalu. I just had to go back and see more of this vast island! It’s got so much to offer from its delicious food, to its unique wildlife and jungle experiences, and not to mention its idyllic beaches.

I have always loved wildlife and to see many species in their natural habitat is something that I really get excited about. My time in Borneo was spent exploring the lush green jungle on the Kinabatangan River and visiting the orangutans at Sepilok Orangutan Reserve. It’s a trip that I’ll always remember and I’m just waiting for the chance to return!

I absolutely love Borneo, I travelled to Sarawak with my family and it’s the safest I’ve ever felt whilst being on holiday – the people are so friendly and kind and the relaxed pace of life is very appealing. Our highlights were seeing real life orangutans, fireflies, proboscis monkeys, dolphins and crocodiles, dipping our toes in the South China Sea and witnessing the most amazing sunsets that needed no filter whatsoever!
