Honeymoon

For those who fancy something a little more active on their honeymoon, Costa Rica is just the ticket. From cruising along the winding rivers of Tortuguero to spending the night in a romantic hotel overlooking a smoking volcano, there are many memories to be made on a Costa Rica honeymoon. Our Travel Specialists will be sure to pull out all the stops to make your trip extra special.

Soak up Caribbean vibes

The perfect place to kick back, enjoy post-wedding calm and relax on the Carribean coast, Puerto Viejo is a funky surfer’s paradise, nestled along the coast close to the Panama boarder. Rent bikes and explore the coastline stopping off along the way for a cooling coconut drink, try the delicious fusion cuisine in a spirited Tico shack and head to the outdoor reggae bars to enjoy sunset cocktails. Pura Vida!

Sleep beneath a smoking volcano

Things don’t get much more romantic than staying in the middle of a remote national park, surrounded by hibiscus blooms and tropical birds. Our In Style accommodation option in La Fortuna is a unique observatory lodge set deep into the Arenal National Park where you’ll wake up to incredible views of the smoking (but dormant!) volcano. A trip to the natural hot springs will be the icing on the cake!

Tortuguero is a lush green landscape only accessible by boat. Sail along the winding river-bends, head through the jungle where your cosy jungle lodge lies, nestled behind the trees. Your huts have no windows, just mozzie screens so you can fall asleep to the sounds of the rainforest and your alarm clock will be the cheeky howler monkeys calling to their tribe in the mornings. This trip is a fantastic way to spot incredible wildlife wherever you look.
