All the accommodation was brilliant, really well chosen. Especially the lodge in Boca Tapada, that was beautiful. The hotel staff were lovely – in particular at the Tortuguero, Boca Tapada and Samara hotels. They tried really hard on the vegan front which was really appreciated.”

“All the staff were wonderful, so kind and helpful. One guide even let us go to the supermarket in La Fortuna whilst he returned everyone else to their hotels then picked us up at the supermarket. All the guides for the tours were brilliant, we learned so much throughout our trip.”

“We saw so many animals and birds, everything we had hoped to see we saw and more. In Tortuguero we saw the Green Turtles laying eggs on the beach. This was really emotional, we saw four turtles at the various stages of laying, it was wonderful.

In Boca Tapada we did the river cruise (saw huge crocodiles) and also their night tour, the guide did a great job communicating with various gestures!”

“In Samara, on the dolphin boat tour we saw humpback whales!!!!! 8 in total, still can’t believe it, just the most amazing experience. We also saw dolphins, turtles mating in the sea, flying fish and a yellow footed boobie!!  I did get very, very seasick but still worth it!

We absolutely loved everything you had booked for us to do, even the surfing which we weren’t so sure about but we had a brilliant time trying something new. The kids nailed it!”
