Day 1 – Arrival in Samara
On arrival in Samara you’ll check in to your cosy hotel only minutes from the beach. You’ll be grateful for the air-conditioned rooms and the swimming pool. In the village of Samara you’ll find a few restaurants and bars, but not much more than that. Prop up your feet, grab a good book and a tropical cocktail, and just ease in to the relaxed pace of life here.
Day 2 – Kayaking & visit a coral restoration project
Today you’ll be collected from your hotel along with a small group to drive to the starting point of your excursion. After a briefing, you’ll hop in your kayak to paddle over to Isla Chora. Here, you’ll visit a community-driven coral restoration project and learn how coral nurseries are grown and replanted to bring the reef back to life, helping marine biodiversity and creating a thriving home for sea creatures.
Day 3 – Departure from Samara
If you’d like a little more beach time, then we can easily book a few extra nights here, but otherwise your stay comes to an end this morning, and you’ll head off to your next destination in Costa Rica.
