About us

Rickshaw Travel is a Brighton-based, B Corp certified travel company creating tailor-made trips for travellers who want to get under the skin of a place. Our specialists build each journey around the people travelling, with local partners on the ground and a strong focus on travelling responsibly.

We are part of a European travel group alongside our sister brands Riksja in the Netherlands and Erlebe in Germany, so you will be working with colleagues who share tools, ideas and a lot of destination knowledge across three markets.

About the role

As our Web Content Executive, you will look after the content that powers our website, from destination pages and trip ideas to the product data behind every itinerary we sell. You will work day to day in our CMS and in our in-house product management system, keeping the two in step so that what travellers see online is accurate, consistent and a pleasure to read.

You will work across both our product and marketing departments, acting as a bridge between the two, work closely with our travel specialists here in Brighton, and liaise regularly with our international team at Riksja in the Netherlands and Erlebe in Germany. It is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both the craft of good web content, has a very good eye for details and is agile across different systems. SEO knowledge is beneficial but not essential, as long as you’re curious.

You value working closely with your team, and you’re happy to be in our Brighton office most of the time, with some hybrid flexibility.

What you'll do

In the CMS

- Write, publish, update and maintain destination pages, trip ideas, landing pages and inspiration content.

- Keep page structure, navigation, internal links and metadata tidy and consistent across the site.

- Work with our SEO and marketing colleagues to put content plans live and track how pages perform.

- Check images, accessibility basics and on-page quality before anything goes out.

In our in-house product management system

- Enter and maintain our travel products, including itineraries, accommodation, activities and pricing information.

- Make sure product data flows correctly through to the website and stays in line with what our specialists are selling.

- Spot gaps, errors and outdated content, and fix them or flag them to the right person.

- Help shape how the system works for content, feeding back on improvements and testing new features with our development team.

Across both

- Work with both the product and marketing departments, balancing their priorities and acting as the go-to person for how content and product data come together on the site.

- Write and edit copy in our tone of voice, keeping it warm, clear and true to each destination.

- Liaise with our international team at Riksja and Erlebe, aligning on shared content, systems and processes so we can learn from each other.
