Arrival in Naples
Today you’ll arrive at Naples airport, about 7kms from the city and you easily travel to the centre in half an hour by public transport. Your hotel is centrally located, close to the metro, and has a large roof terrace, where you’ll have breakfast in the morning. In the evening there is delicious food in the Santa Lucia district for you to enjoy a pizza on the boulevard of Naples with Mount Vesuvius in the distance.

Explore Naples underground
This morning it’s time to learn that not all of Naples beauty is on the surface. It is also alive underground where tunnels, caves and waterways can be found. You’ll be with a guide as you walk through the maze of tunnels, learning how some of these catacombs date back to Greek and Roman times and much more along the way. Spend the rest of the day indulging in the city’s culture in the Museo Archeologico Nazionale or the Museo di Capodimonte, or head to Quartieri Spagnoli, where elegant palazzi stand side by side and Vespas cruise the streets.

Departure from Naples
After breakfast, your tour of southern Italy really begins. You’ll pick up your rental car and exchange bustling city life of Naples for the tranquillity of the coast. You can either drive to Sorrento, where you can make your own ice cream, or cruise the Amalfi Coast on a Vespa.
