Overview
The Cameron Highlands is a great place to take a breath of crisp, fresh air and relax into rural life. One of the most beautiful areas in Malaysia, these rolling tea plantations stretch as far as the eye can see, draped in early morning mists and silvery afternoon light. During this tour, you’ll spend two nights in the Cameron Highlands, staying in a truly unique hotel. By day, you can amble between rows of fragrant tea leaves, while at night you can sit back and watch the sun set behind the hills.

Arrival in Cameron Highlands
Tanah Rata, the hub of the Cameron Highlands, lies about 3 – 4 hours north of Kuala Lumpur. However, when you see the plantations rolling into sight, you’ll feel like you’ve entered another world. First, you’ll settle into your hotel, a Tudor mansion with a classic floral garden that looks as though it’s been plucked straight out of the English countryside.
Tea Plantation Tour
Today you will be picked up at your hotel by your guide to explore the surrounding endless rolling hills covered by lush, green tea plantations. Coming down to earth you will take a wander through a mossy forest where your guide will tell you all about the medicinal powers of the fascinating plants and flowers that grow there. As the morning comes to an end you’ll visit a tea factory for a tour before sitting down with a nice brew.
Departure from the Cameron Highlands
Today your Cameron highlands trip comes to an end. Once you’ve checked out, you’ll follow the winding roads out of the Highlands down to warmer climes where you’ll need to get used to the hot, humid weather again. You could always extend your stay in the Cameron Highlands with an extra night, just let us know and we’ll arrange if for you.
