Day 1 – Arrival in Mendoza
When you arrive at the airport, you’ll be transferred directly to your peaceful posada, just beyond the bustle of Mendoza itself. Here, you’ll be surrounded by green vineyards as far as the eye can see, backed by snow-tipped Andes peaks. You’ll stay in a sleepy village with tree-lined cobbled streets and a shady central plaza.
Day 2 – Mendoza cycling tour among the wine bodegas
This morning you will be collected at your hotel around 9.30am by your guide and cycle through the vineyards to sample some of the regions best wines. Make sure you have a decent breakfast because at 10.30am you’ll be hitting the Malbec or Cabernet!
Drinking wine is a social activity, so take your time to enjoy the distinctive wines of each winery and learn more about the area. During the cycling trip, you’ll visit two wineries and be given a guided tour of both. After tasting the various wines available in this area, you’ll be treated to a three course lunch along with carefully paired wine at the onsite restaurant.
Day 3 – Mendoza departure
After breakfast it’s time to check out of your hotel and leave Mendoza behind as you continue on your Argentina adventure. You’ll be transferred back to the airport for your onward flight.
