Day 1 – Arrival in Koh Lipe

You’ll arrive in Koh Lipe by speedboat, and immediately feel as if you’ve stepped into a postcard, with powder white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters. The pier can be quite busy, especially in high season, but you’ll soon be whisked off to your boutique beach resort nestled along the tranquil stretch of Sunrise Beach. You’ll stay in a bright, spacious room with a private balcony, surrounded by lush gardens leading to a beautiful pool area. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and take a dip in the pool, enjoy reading a good book under the shade of a palm tree or take a stroll along the beach just steps away.

    Day 2 – Snorkelling tour

Today, you will be boarding a traditional longtail boat and cruising over the calm waters to explore the best snorkelling spots around Koh Lipe. The first stop is Koh Hin-Ngam, a tiny island known for its unique black stones instead of sand. Legend has it that anyone who takes a stone from the beach will be cursed – so best to have a look, but leave the stones where they are! Next, you’ll motor to the Jabang Channel, where the water is up to 16m deep but is incredibly clear and vibrant coral can be seen from the boat, before you’ve even entered the water. Dive in and admire the kaleidoscope of colours and swaying anemones in between the rocks, before heading onto the next stop – Koh Rawi. Here, a laid-back lunch awaits on the soft sands of White Sand Beach. Enjoy the local flavours and take a stroll along the shore. Your final stop of the day is Koh Yang, where you’ll swim among a huge variety of tropical fish, darting between the coral and completing your snorkelling adventure for the day. It’s time to cruise back to Koh Lipe and enjoy the rest of the day as you wish.

Make sure you visit Walking Street. This lively street is the heart of the island, filled with Thai families, couples, and backpackers, all looking for a place to eat or have a drink. You’ll find everything here, from local Thai dishes to Mexican, Italian, and even tapas. Take a stroll through the network of sandy alleys, coming alive as the sun sets, and watch one of the fire shows on the beach.

Day 3 – Free time in Koh Lipe

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before spending the rest of the day exploring Koh Lipe. You can hire a kayak from the beach and paddle to the nearby inlets and snorkel some of the secret spots along the coast, or take a day trip to Koh Adang in Tarutao National Marine Park and hike along lush jungle trails to reach a scenic viewpoint. If you’re seeking some relaxation, then spending time unwinding on the golden sands is another great way to spend your time here and make sure you take a dip in the sea as Koh Lipe is called the Maldives of Thailand for good reason.
