Bite-sized trip
Days 1 – Arrival day
When you arrive in Lima, our local partners will transfer you to your cosy hotel in the heart of Miraflores – the city’s trendy seaside district, and home to many of the best restaurants and bars. This evening you can rest up after your journey, take a stroll around the neighbourhood and get your first taste of Peruvian cuisine.
Day 2 – Market and city tour
This morning you’ll get to know the capital a little more intimately, with the help of a Lima resident (or Limeño). You’ll be taken to the colourful Miraflores market, where you’ll get to taste the weird and wonderful fruit and veg available here, before hopping on the public bus into the historic centre, to learn a little about the history of the city, as well as trying some of the local snacks available. The afternoon is free for you to explore, and your guide can give you some insider tips on the best things to see and do in their home city.
Day 3 – Leaving Lima
You can spend a little longer exploring Peru’s cosmopolitan capital of course, just chat with your travel specialist, but otherwise it’ll be time to check out after breakfast, ready to travel to the next stop on your Peruvian adventure.
