Bite-sized tripDay 1 – Arrival Bolzano
Today you’ll arrive in Bolzano, where the inhabitants are said to be among the happiest in Italy. It is easy to see why, with the city’s friendly atmosphere and views out to the mountains. You will sleep in a simple hotel with comfortable rooms, selected for its central location in the lively centre. Settle down on one of the terraces, look up at the mountain peaks and order a refreshing beer or a local Italian wine.
Day 2 – Cable car to the Alpe di Siusi
It is now time to stop simply looking at the mountains and jump in one of the cable cars that sweep up the mountain to the Seiser Alm, Alpe di Siusi: Europe’s largest alpine plain. With our handy navigation app you can take a walk at your own pace, passing mountain villages and huts while overlooking the immense mountain range of the Dolomites. Make a stop for lunch on the terrace of a mountain restaurant and enjoy the views before heading to Bolzano’s Archaeological Museum to admire the famous 5,000-year-old ice mummy Ötzi.
Day 3 – Arrivederci Bolzano!
This morning it is time to continue your Italian journey. If you decide to stay in the area, then you can also visit Lake Garda. Alternatively, take the four-hour drive to Northern Tuscany for more incredible views and unique architecture.

Of course, you’ll be provided with good and safe equipment. Remember to bring your towel and swimwear because you won’t stay dry!
