During your trip with us you’ll stay in accommodation with bags of local character and experience a variety of styles and standards. You might spend the night in a safari lodge, a jungle tower, or with a Nepalese family. During our treks, the teahouse or homestay accommodation is basic, but the experience and the views are utterly amazing.

In Style Accommodation – Category 4

This category will give you a little more comfort than our standard option; a few more creature comforts, a little extra style or an impeccable location. As swimming pools are such a rare feature in Nepal, we class our hotels with swimming pools in this category.

Standard Accommodation – Category 3

Most of our Nepal accommodation falls into this category: small-scale with authentic Nepalese charm and a welcoming atmosphere. You can expect a mid-range resort or hotel. It could be trekking hotel with uninterrupted views of the Himalayas or a safari-style lodge in Chitwan National Park.

Simple Accommodation – Category 2

Some destinations in Nepal are just so special that the accommodation isn’t as important as the location. You might spend the night in a cosy guesthouse in a medieval town, a locally-run hostel in the centre of the city or a unique tented lodge in the middle of the jungle.

Basic Accommodation – Category 1

If you go trekking in Nepal, you’ll certainly encounter plenty of accommodation in this category. The facilities won’t be what you’re used to in the UK, but offer a truly authentic way of seeing Nepal. It could be a trekking lodge, a jungle tower or a homestay with a Tibetan family.
