Day 1 – Arrival in Boquete
This area is known for its fresh, cool climate; the perfect place for coffee plants. The lush gardens at your hotel are home to many plants and wildlife that provide an explosion of smells and colours. Kick back and take in the view across the green landscape.
Day 2 – From coffee bean to coffee cup
This afternoon, you’ll be met by your friendly guide and head out to find out what makes the coffee in this area so special. As you stroll through the grounds of the coffee farm, you’ll get to witness the whole process, including picking the beans and seeing the patios where beans are laid out to dry in the sun. Your guide will share stories about the coffee-growing community, and it quickly becomes clear just how much work is involved in producing this iconic beverage.

Day 3 – Departure
This morning, take in the views of this beautiful area before jetting off to your next destination. January to March is the best time to travel to Boquete. Outside this time, it rains from midday to 3pm almost on the dot, but it’s still possible to enjoy yourself. Temperatures remain around 28 degrees most of the year.
Accommodation

For this bite-sized trip we offer the following options
Volcano Baru jeep tour
If you’re up for an adventure we can arrange for you to take a day trip by jeep to the summit of Volcano Baru, Panama’s only volcano. You’ll begin your trip before dawn and as you climb higher, you’ll journey through five different climate zones each with a variety of unique plants and animals. At the top, if the weather is clear, you’ll be treated to sweeping views of both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea at the same time.
Birdseye view of Panama's tropical cloud forest
Experience the biodiversity of Panama’s tropical cloud forest from above. Meet your English-speaking guide and other travellers in the morning and embark on this suspension bridge tour together. The approximately 4.5 km long circular route takes you over 6 suspension bridges through the treetops and your local guide will introduce you to the lush flora and fauna of this protected forest in the Rio Cristal private reserve along the way.
If you’re after a greater adrenaline buzz we can arrange a guided ziplining tour above the treetops of the tropical forest. Ask your Travel Specialist for more information.
