Day 1 – Arrival in Boquete
This area is known for its fresh, cool climate; the perfect place for coffee plants. The lush gardens at your hotel are home to many plants and wildlife that provide an explosion of smells and colours. Kick back and take in the view across the green landscape.
Day 2 – From coffee bean to coffee cup
This afternoon, you’ll be met by your friendly guide and head out to find out what makes the coffee in this area so special. As you stroll through the grounds of the coffee farm, you’ll get to witness the whole process, including picking the beans and seeing the patios where beans are laid out to dry in the sun. Your guide will share stories about the coffee-growing community, and it quickly becomes clear just how much work is involved in producing this iconic beverage.


Day 3 – Departure
This morning takin in take in the views of this beautiful area before jetting off to your next destination. January to March is the best time to travel to Boquete. Outside this time, it rains from midday to 3pm almost on the dot, but it’s still possible to enjoy yourself. Temperatures remain around 28 degrees most of the year.

If you’re up for an adventure we can arrange for you to take a day trip by jeep to the summit of Volcan Baru, Panama’s only volcano. You’ll begin your trip before dawn and as you climb higher, journey through five different climate zones each with a variety of unique plants and animals. At the top, if the weather is clear, you’ll be treated to sweeping views of both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean sea at the same time.
