Arrival in Playa Larga

Day 1

Arrival in Playa Larga

Playa Larga is a small piece of paradise in the historic Bay of Pigs. Today Playa Larga is part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, perfect for nature walks and bird watching. It’s also ideal if you’re looking to get off the beaten track, snorkel or simply relax in a quiet spot by the coast. You’ll stay in a cosy casa particulars, similar to a B&B. This family-run property has bags of character.

Your next stop is Sendero Enigma de las Roca, a nature trail jam-packed with flora and fauna. Finish off with a refreshing dip in a natural pool before heading back to your casa. You’ll have the afternoon free to do as you please.

Speak to our Cuba specialist, Ross

"One of my favourite things about travelling in Cuba is simply watching life on the streets; kids playing football, old friends having a game of chess, salsa music lingering in the air. It's not hard to fall under Cuba's spell."
