During your holiday in Cuba, everything will be just a little different than what you’re accustomed to. Even if you’re a seasoned traveller, it’s still very important to properly prepare for your trip to Cuba. To make it a little easier, our travel specialists have compiled the following Cuba travel information to help get you started.
Accommodation
Since all hotels in Cuba are operated by the Cuban Ministry of Tourism, it can be tricky to find the kind of small-scale charm we prefer. We’ve found a few lovely exceptions to the rule though, and in much of the country you’ll stay in unique casa particulares – these are the Cuban version of a B&B, locally owned and run, and offering comfort, character and a warm welcome. You’ll always have your own bathroom, and a key to come and go as you like.
