Kuala Lumpur - Taman Negara - Planned Activities
From Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown, you’ll hop on a bus to the village of Jerantut. After a short stop, head to the border of Taman Negara National Park, where you’ll take a small wooden boat along the jungle-flanked Sungai Tembeling river to your comfy rainforest resort. As the sun begins to set, you’ll set off into the jungle; on a night safari. You’ll be surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest as you search for wildlife and insects hiding in the darkness.
The following morning, you’ll get a new perspective with a canopy walk through Taman Negara. The walkway is 30ft above the rainforest floor and twists through the treetops, giving you a great chance to spot wildlife between the branches; this time by day.
Taman Negara - Free Time - Departure
Today is completely your own, and there are all kinds of activities up for grabs. Take a rafting trip along overgrown waterways, for instance, or visit the Orang Asli tribe in their nearby village. If you’re looking for a way to get the blood pumping, try riding the river rapids. You’ll depart Taman Negara the following day.
