Overview
If you don't fancy a self-drive holiday in Canada then this week-long trip takes in the highlights of Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria with none of the driving. Whilst someone else takes care of the getting from A-B, you can sit back and soak up the Canadian landscape. You'll start in Vancouver city with a whizz round Stanley Park by bike, cruise up the Sea-to-Sky highway to the mountain-top town of Whistler and travel in style with a seaplane flight to Victoria. You'll finish with a visit to the famous Butchart Gardens and a night back in Vancouver.

Start your Canadian adventure in this bustling city. See why it’s often heralded as the most liveable city in the world, as you explore the culinary scene, stroll through the historic Gastown district and sample the many culinary delights in this bustling multicultural city. We’ve included a guided bike ride through Stanley Park to help you get under the skin of this vibrant city and the rest of the time is yours to spend as you wish!
Bus transfer from Vancouver to Whistler
After your stay in Vancouver city you’ll set off on your next adventure. This morning you’ll be collected from your hotel in a mini-coach and join your group and guide for the drive along the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler. Keep an eye out for bald eagles and bears along the way as you weave up the mountain roads.
Meadows & Mountains of Whistler
As you reach the lively resort town of Whistler, nestled between two soaring mountains, you will be given a map and orientation tour before being dropped at your central hotel. You can spend the next two days cycling, hiking, tubing, and zip trekking around this mountainous landscape – the choice is yours! We haven’t included any excursions during your time here but if you would like to add some experiences just let your Travel Specialist know.
Seaplane flight from Whistler to Victoria
Today you’ll travel in style over to the quaint city of Victoria on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. You’ll be collected from your hotel in Whistler and taken to Green Lake for your seaplane flight. Admire the changing landscape below as you cruise from the mountains to the coast and over the Gulf Islands. On arrival into British Columbia’s capital city you’ll be dropped at your central hotel.
Explore Victoria
Your time is free to explore at your own pace in Victoria – delve into British Columbia’s history at the Royal BC Museum, take a windswept stroll through Beacon Hill Park right on the edge of the ocean or hop on a bike and explore the most cycle-friendly city in Canada. This English influenced city also boasts some of the best whale watching so keep your eyes peeled or take a boat trip out from the harbour to increase your chances of a sighting.
Bus & Ferry from Victoria to Vancouver
The following afternoon you’ll meet your group and guide to start your journey back to Vancouver. En route, you’ll stop at the famous Butchart Gardens covering 55 acres this venue offers colourful flowers displays and a tranquil atmosphere to wander through the gardens at your own leisure. Afterwards, your mini-coach will head towards Swartz Bay ferry terminal where you’ll catch the boat back to the mainland where you’ll be dropped off at your downtown hotel.
Final night in Vancouver
You’ll spend a final night in Vancouver – take a stroll through Stanley Park or try a tasty dish at one of the city’s bustling restaurants or food trucks. The following morning marks the end of this week-long group trip, from here you can either hop on the famous Rocky Mountaineer train towards the mountain towns of Banff or Jasper, continue your journey through Canada on one of our self-drive trips or head back home after your adventure.
