Jungle Adventures in the Cardamom Mountains

Today you will be picked up bright and early for a 5-hour transfer to Trapeang Rung, a small village on the edge of Botum Sakor National Park. On arrival, you’ll take a longtail boat across the river and continue into the dense jungle of the Cardamom mountains to your safari-style tented camp, located in the flat grasslands right on the river. This afternoon is yours, you can go on an exploratory hike in the jungle around the camp or paddle down the river in a kayak before being served a traditional Cambodian dinner in the evening.

If you’re an early riser and fancy a little more exploring before your departure, set off by boat to discover the nature along the course of the river. Grab some binoculars and a camera and look out for the animals enroute. On your return to the camp, you’ll have one last breakfast in the jungle before saying your farewells. You’ll leave the Cardamom tented camp by boat and return to Trapeang Rung, from here you’ll head onto your next exciting adventure.
