Most locations see their highest rainfall in Tanzania in April, with consistent, heavy downpours which can make roads impassable and disrupt travel, cutting off more remote areas entirely. It’s also far harder to see the wildlife between the rainy weather and the thick undergrowth.
Temperatures drop across the country, with reduced visibility if you were hoping to snorkel at the coast, and trekking conditions are difficult at Kilimanjaro.
